The Lazarus Brass is going back to their roots at Wayzata Community Church where they got their start with Charles Lazarus and Merry and Bright.

In celebration of the 100 year Anniversary of Duke Ellington’s legendary partnership with the Cotton Club in New York, they will be joined by the WCC Chamber Choir under the direction of Brian Schmidt. The program will feature the premiere of Dean Sorenson’s arrangement of Duke Ellington’s Sacred concert, selections from Ellington’s Peer Gynt Suite, Caravan and other big band hits.
